"Buy A Brick" Campaign
We will be building a brick walkway near the entrance of the dog park (after the fence
is up) with personally engraved bricks. To purchase bricks, see column on the left for forms. Horsham
Veterinary Hospital and Pabby's Pet Pantry also have a supply of order forms.

We have the land. Now all we need
to do is raise the money for the fence. Please donate to help make this happen. Thank you!

Our Mission
To establish an accessible fenced-in, off-leash dog park where well-behaved
canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe environment with their owners without disruption or endangerment to the citizens,
wildlife, or property within the Horsham community. To develop a well-maintained open space for dog lovers and friends who
are willing to abide by the park’s rules and restrictions.
To create public awareness of the positive benefits
of a dog park, encouraging exercise and socialization with other dog lovers and friends while maintaining open space within
the community.
To view this dog park as a community project, in partnership with Horsham Township, designed to satisfy
the needs of dog owners and non-dog owners alike.
In addition, our Mission is to establish a “Friends of the
Park” core group for the continuing interest in maintaining and bettering the Dog Park in Horsham.

Please Sign Our Guestbook.
We would like to hear from you.
Guestbook:
Sign the Guest book and indicate if you would like to be a core
group member. A core group member is someone who supports our efforts to establish the park, such
as helping at fundraisers. When at the dog park tells others the etiquette of the park (rules) if
you see those who do not understand. This may seem a small job, but is essential to the longevity
of a clean friendly dog park. Thank you for considering to be involved.
| Dog Park Location - Kohler Park, past the pond. |

|
History:
Horsham Township Council Meeting of August 9, 2006 Results:
We were given 2 years to raise the funds to build a fenced area for dogs to play. The location is at the back
of Kohler Park past the pond and small playground. 1 1/2 acres is allotted for our use.
The Horsham Parks &
Recreation Survey (asking what residents would like to see in our parks) from 2002 results showed a strong interest
in having a dog park in Horsham. We made the top 10 choices - actually as #7. Petitions have been signed by hundreds
of Horsham residents wanting a dog park here.
